Plot Summary: Hotaru works for a famous interior design company. It's a glamorous job but Hotaru's private life is totally the opposite of glamorous. She lives alone, and when she isn't working she's mostly lazing about her rented house in training wear. She's not interested in men. In fact, she isn't interested in anything. "I'd rather lay around than fool around," is her motto. Her landlord is a bar owner, and one day his son, who has just separated from his wife, comes to inspect the rental property, not knowing that someone is living there. He is shocked at the mess, but not as shocked as Hotaru. He turns out to be her boss, Takano. (c) Japan Times Online

My comment: I swear this is one of the cutest drama ever! Any woman would see her 'other' side through Hotaru. Let's admit it, sometimes, it's easier to laze around than to fall in love and when you're focusing too much in your work, the tendency is..you can forget what it feels like to love someone.


The approach of this drama is light and funny and the setting is from a pretty ordinary corporate world--any girl working in a company can easily relate to--the overwheming realism put in the drama made me love it all throughout. The love advices from Yamada-neechan and the cuteness of Hotaru were plus factors! Can't help but to blurt out her taglines like 'goro-goro' and 'dokyuun!'

The chemistry between Hotaru and Buchou was really good. I always find myself laughing when I see them teasing each other. Just love the two of them together!

I don't think anyone should miss this! A delightful watch this summer! Highly recommended! :)
